New business offers registration close to home

Longtime local resident Ed Garcia got the idea for his new business while he was standing in line at the DMV.

Garcia, a former truck driver, was tired of the long drive to the Victorville DMV office — not to mention the long lines once he got there.

Garcia founded A1- Legal Registration Services earlier this year and set up shop at 32774 Old Woman Springs Road, right next door to Master Ruben’s karate studio.

The business offers vehicle registration services for a small additional fee, saving local residents the drive and the time spent in line. The business is licensed by the DMV.
